I’ve been on staff at CSI Academy of Florida since inception in late
2011 when I received a call from Danny Pascucci about starting a forensic
training school in Alachua. I, like many of the staff, have been to a
multitude of forensics courses and conferences and was excited at Danny’s
vision for a truly “hands on” forensic training facility.
I am equally excited on the progress we have made and the direction we
are going at the academy today. As an instructor at the academy, I offer
a background in crime scene & evidence processing as well as specialized
work in fingerprint analysis and comparison. I have been in law enforcement
for 20 years with 15 years in forensics.
I am a Certified Latent Print Examiner with the International Association
for Identification and have provided expert witness testimony in over
30 felony cases, two of which were federal. I love teaching the science
of fingerprint comparison every chance I get, whether it is at the local
middle schools or at the University of Florida College of Law.
In my off time I enjoy playing golf and coaching football (kickers). I
attended Florida State University where I studied Criminology and played
football for Bobby Bowden. In 1997 I was inducted in to the FSU football
Hall of Fame. I have a wife of 26 years, Sonya, and two children, Garrett
and Meghan, both of whom attend college in Gainesville.
